I just finally got to It's a Wonderful Life on Jan 2nd. I couldn't get my kids excited to watch it with me. Maybe in another year or two. They do love Scrooge though--we try and play "the minister's cat" every year too, though they aren't very good at it yet.
Oh my goodness! I thought we had spent time in front of the tube during our cold spell. We didn't watch many old Christmas movies. We should have... hearing the names makes me ask why not! They are classics and my children should grow up watching them. I will NOT have any problems exciting my children for ANYTHING I put on the TV. They inherited my husbands TV gene. Even Tyler at 2 can sit for hours and watch a movie. We got Michael McCleans The Forgotten Carols as DVD for Christmas. I wanted to watch that too still. I wish Christmas wasn't over so quick. I've already packed away my decor and it makes me sad.
And... I forgot to say, I am SOOO glad that someone else is still posting about Christmas. Doesn't make me feel like such a dork. I will get to New Year's in a couple of days if I can get over this flu, how bout you Deb?
